Service Description

A Handmade Christmas Christmas Pottery Workshop No experience needed, beginners are very welcome. Make this Christmas a little more personal with something handmade. Come along with a friend or someone you love, and create Christmas decorations to bring out year after year, or thoughtful gifts for someone special. Using 1kg of clay, you’ll have the freedom to make pieces in your own style — Christmas tree tealight holders, hanging ornaments, a little festive house, or your own Christmas idea. We’ll guide you through simple slab-building techniques, using rolled-out sheets of clay to cut shapes and build your pieces. Then add colour, patterns and your own finishing touches. We’ll apply a clear glaze and fire your pieces after the workshop. They’ll be ready to collect in approximately 4–5 weeks, in time for Christmas. Included: - 1kg of clay - All materials and underglazes - Clear glazing & firing - Step-by-step slab-building guidance No experience needed — beginners are very welcome. You can make one larger piece or a few smaller decorations with your 1kg of clay. It’s completely up to you! Spaces are limited, so bookings are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to pass your booking on to a friend.
