Clay Play - Kids Class

Service Description

Calling all future artists aged 5–12 to join our Clay Play every Wednesday after school! Each week, we’ll introduce a fun theme and guide the kids through different pottery techniques, helping them create their own unique pieces based on their own design ideas. We’ll glaze and fire all the creations, ready for collection a few weeks later. No previous pottery experience is needed. CURRICULUM： Week1 - Mug+Painting (Pinching) Week2 - Plate+Painting (Slab Building) Week3 - Bowl+Painting (Coil Building) Week4 - Animal+Painting (Pinching) Week5 - Jar+Painting (Slab Building) Week6 - Vase+Painting (Coil Building) Week7 - Flower+Painting (Pinching) Week8 - Pen Holder+Painting (Slab Building) Week9 - Basket (Coil Building) Week10 - Little Person + Painting (Pinching) Week11 - Throwing+Painting (Wheel) Week12 - Throwing+Painting (Wheel) ( Each class term aligns with the school term schedule — the 12 weeks include both the school term and the school holidays. ） Duration: Wednesday，4pm-5:30pm, 1.5 hours Cost: $40 - 1 Session / Per person $360 - 10 Sessions / Per person (After purchasing the 10-session plan, you will still need to manually book each weekly class. Each booking will deduct one session from your plan. The sessions do not need to be consecutive. The plan is valid for 3 months.) What’s Included: Price is all inclusive of clay, materials, underglaze, glaze & firing. What To Bring： An apron to avoid getting messy. A pair of hands with trimmed nails. Important Notes: Pottery has many chemicals and materials that are hazardous – so if you are either pregnant or health impaired, you need to let your tutor knows so that she can advise you on best practices. Please note that because spaces are limited once you have booked there are no refunds unless we can find someone else to take your spot.
