Service Description

No previous pottery experience needed. Join us for a special four-hour hand-building workshop where you'll design and create your own unique ceramic lamp. Using coiling and sculpting techniques, you'll learn how to shape clay into beautiful organic forms, add texture and decorative details, and craft a one-of-a-kind piece that will bring warmth and character to your home. This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to explore the creative possibilities of hand building. All materials are included: clay, paint, firing, and a cord, switch, and bulb socket set. Finished lamps will be approximately under 30cm in size and will be ready for collection in 5–6 weeks. We recommend trimming your nails before class for a more comfortable pottery experience. Pottery involves working with clay, glazes, and studio materials. If you are pregnant or have any health concerns, please let your tutor know so they can advise you on appropriate studio practices. Please note: Spaces are limited, and bookings are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your spot.
