Service Description

Intermediate level class This is a hand-building workshop (Not on the Wheel) Nerikomi; is a decorative technique established in Japan that involves stacking colored clay and slicing through the cross section to reveal a pattern, which can then be used as an applied decoration. In this workshop, there will be a demonstration of how to make a block of Nerikomi clay, and then everyone will have a chance to make a handbuilt plate from that block After that, you will have the opportunity to choose from a few different colors of clay to make your own block of Nerikomi clay and make plates and bowls
