Slab Box Workshop

Service Description

Come and make your first cool ceramic box! You will create the box shape using the hard slab-building technique and decorate it with pinching, embossing or underglaze painting. Design a one-of-a-kind ceramic box of your own! We will glaze and fire your egg works, and you can pick them up in a few weeks. No previous pottery experience is needed. Duration: April 26 3pm-5pm, April 27 3pm-7pm 2 Days ( 6 Hours ) What’s Included: Price is all inclusive of clay, materials, underglaze, glaze & firing. What To Bring： A heart full of passion for clay. An apron to avoid getting messy. Please wear comfortable clothing. Pictures or sketches as a reference so that the tutor can guide you to make your work better. A pair of hands with trimmed nails, as this will make you feel more comfortable when handling the clay. Important Notes: Pottery has many chemicals and materials that are hazardous – so if you are either pregnant or health impaired, you need to let your tutor knows so that she can advise you on best practices. Please note that because spaces are limited once you have booked there are no refunds unless we can find someone else to take your spot.
