3-Day Wheel Throwing Basics : Animal Mug & Bowl – Kids 9+ 🗓 Duration: 3 days (9 hours total) | 3-hour sessionsIn this fun-filled school holiday program, kids will get hands-on experience with the pottery wheel—a special opportunity to try throwing! After shaping their very own cup and bowl, they’ll transform them into their favorite animals through sculpting and decoration. 🦊🐸🐻 They’ll also learn hand-building, sculpting, and glazing techniques, adding their personal touch with colorful underglazes. This course is all about creativity, exploration, and having fun with clay! About the Tutor Effy is a passionate pottery teacher who loves working with kids! She creates a relaxed, playful environment where young artists can express themselves while learning essential pottery skills. What to Bring 👕 An apron or old clothes (it might get messy!) 🧣 An old towel 🥤 A drink bottle & a small snack for morning tea Materials Included ✅ Clay, tools, and supplies ✅ Underglazes for painting ✅ Firing of finished pieces Pick-up: Your child’s finished pottery will be ready for collection 3 weeks after the course ends.
